CCA Points

Dear all,

The following CCA Points have been keyed in, and awaiting approval from our advisor, Miss Maga.

1. Lifesaving Freshmen Orientation Camp
2. Lifesaving 123 for Semester 1
3. Bronze Medallion Award for Semester 1
4. 32th National Lifesaving Championship
5. 10th NUS Lifesaving Championship
6. 1st Republic Polytechnic Youth Lifesaving Championship
7. Training Camp for Youth/NUS Lifesaving Championship
8. Training Camp for 32th National Lifesaving Championship

For the time being, please login to your NPAL Student Self-Service and check if the points are correctly allocated. The status of the above events will be "NEW". For any discrepancy, please look for me as soon as possible by 25 November 2009. Later than that, I'll not be able to help.

On the other hand, I will be keying in the following CCA Points once our advisor gives me the CCA ID for entry.

2. Trainings for Semester 1
3. Camp Wave (Bonding Camp)
4. Energy & Water Conservation Programme 2009
5. Kusu Island Pilgrimage Voluntary 2009
6. National Day Parade 2009 Lifeguard Duty

Please be patience. The process of requesting for CCA ID takes around 3 weeks.

Entering of CCA point for every individual per event take around half an hour.

Kusu Island Pilgrimage Voluntary 2009 (UPDATED)

Date: 31st Oct 2009, Sat - 1st Nov 2009, Sun (Overnight stay @ Kusu Island)

Time: 7.30am (Meeting at Marina Bay MRT)

Venue: Kusu Island

Scope:

1. To help out in ensuring safety of the people getting in and out of Kusu Island.

2. To perform lifeguard duties in the beaches at Kusu Island.

3. To ensure safety of passengers of the ferry service at the Jetty located at Marina and Kusu Island.

Objectives of this activity:

1. Experience and applying lifesaving skills learnt in school to real life situations.

2. Experience in performing lifesaving duties.

3. Bonding session for members undertaking LS123 & BM with Qualified Lifeguards.

Training Matters

Due to the Annual Kusu Island Pilgrimage Voluntary,

Training for the period of 26th October 2009 to 6 November 2009 will be cancelled.

Nevertheless, the swimming pool would still be booked. Can still come and swim on your own accord and free time.

Mid-Autumn Festival

We'll be conducting an interview for the upcoming committee for AY10/11.
