DEAR MEMBERS,
WE WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU OF OUR DECISION THAT MR SEOW WEI QING (JUSTIN) WILL NOT LONGER BE AFFILIATED WITH THE NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC LIFEGUARD CORPS WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. THIS ALSO MEAN THE REMOVAL OF MR SEOW FROM HIS POST, HEAD OF PROJECT COORDINATOR.
WE REGRET MAKING SUCH A MOVE BUT DECISIONS MADE ARE FINAL, AND SECONDED BY THE VICE-PRESIDENT (TRAINING), MR CHUA RONGYUE AND PRESIDENT, MR DEXTER TAN JUN XIANG. NEVERTHELESS, WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK MR SEOW FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE CLUB OVER THE PAST FEW MONTHS AND LOOK FORWARD TO CONTINUE WORKING WITH HIM WHENEVER POSSIBLE IN FUTURE.

RP 1st Youth Lifesaving Funfest 2009
Yesterday was Republic Polytechnic 1st Youth Lifesaving Funfest 2009.
About 25 of us went down for this event including supporters and competitors.
Only those who are under 17 are qualified to be involved and in total we have participated in 11 events with the majority under the catergory the Lifesaving 1,2,3 while the remaining for the Bronze Medallion. It was a very fruitful event for our juniors and believed it has widen their vision and gained lots of experiences.
Good Job to our juniors.
You have done us proud!!

Legs & Paddles 2009 people!
C'mon guys! Let's all join legs & paddles this year! Will require 1-star kayak certification, but for those who do not possess, don't worry, we can actually take the 2-day course on the 4-5/11-12 July next month! Ask me for more details! Course fees: $45! And and and register before 14 July and get an early bird special of 10% discount! Hurry!!!
NUS Canoeing Club is offering an Early Bird Promotion from 1 June to 14 June 2009! Participants are entitled to a 10% discount for all categories. Discounted prices are as followed:
1. LNP CHALLENGE (Men Singles/Women Singles) - $20.70 for NUS members, $22.50 for public participants
2. OPEN (Men Singles/Women Singles/Doubles: Men, Women or Mixed) - $18 for NUS members, $19.80 for public participants

LET'S GO EVERYBODY!
Our club is honoured to be invited by both NUS and SP to their annual mass swim event and biathlon respectively. Personally, I think the NUS Splashdown event is damn cool and I encourage everyone to participate in it. Please contact me if you want to participate.

For the NUS Splashdown, we'll be signing up as a whole during the NUS Invitationals! SO HURRY!
