We were Invited toooooooooooo

NUS INVITATIONALS 2011!

Hello People!

Last Weekend, we were at NUS Invitationals 2011. For those who are scratching their heads wondering what that is.

NUS Invitationals is a Lifesaving Sports Competition held annually by the National University of Singapore preluding the annual National Lifesaving Championship hosted by the Singapore Lifesaving Society (SLSS):the organisation who train and qualify Lifeguards and examiners who qualify Lifeguards.

So over the weekend we participated at NUS Invitationals as a club. In addition to competing in the old events, we also participated in a new event: Simulated Emergency Rescue Competition (SERC). All in all we had fun competing against the other teams from other clubs and making friends along the way and we would like to thank NUS Life Guard Corp for hosting the competition.

For those who are still taking their BM, LS123 or learning the basics of swimming. Don't worry! You will have you chance to take part in next years invitationals and nationals!
